An Autobottom gets its name because when you erect the carton it automatically makes its own bottom. All of our autobottoms have tuck tops with some tucking to the back of the carton and some tucking to the front of the carton. Autobottoms are generally used in hand packing operations so that efficiency can be achieved. It is also used because the bottom is strong and will not come open on the shelf. The measurements of an autobottom are taken as follows: Length – left to right on the front of the box, Width – front to back on the side of the box, Depth – top to bottom on the front of the box.
Counter displays are used to display other folding cartons or loose product on a retailer’s shelf or counter. Counter displays are most often autobottoms but can sometimes be manual erect or tuck boxes. Specific info on dimensions can be found in the download file.
